PageMarkdown was created out of frustration with existing web clippers. We needed a tool that could reliably convert any web page to clean Markdown, batch-export entire documentation sites, and let us pick exactly the content we wanted — while keeping captured content on the device.
Our Mission
Give every developer, writer, and researcher a fast, private, and reliable way to convert web content into structured Markdown. Core features require no account or cloud processing, and captured content stays on your machine.
Why We Built This
Existing Markdown clippers were either too basic (no batch export, no element selection) or too heavy (required accounts, sent data to servers). We wanted a single Chrome extension that handles every web-to-Markdown workflow — from quick one-page captures to batch-downloading entire documentation portals.
